About the event

The RRCA's Family Fishing Afternoon, sponsored by Ontario Power Generation, is taking place Friday, July 3, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the mouth of Gray's Creek on the St. Lawrence River (south of the County Road 2 bridge over Gray's Creek).

This free event lets young anglers and their families try their hand at catching fish while also having a chance to win several prizes through a friendly fishing competition. A fishing licence is not required, as the event takes place during Ontario’s licence-free fishing week.

The popular RRCA community event is a fun way for families to learn about the region’s native fish species, practice proper fishing techniques, and spend quality time in nature.

For more information, see the event page on the RRCA's website, or contact (613) 938-3611, or info@rrca.on.ca
